HMCG-II-E Series Harmonic Reducer
The HMCG-II-E series harmonic reducer features an input shaft connected to the wave generator inner hole through a cross slider coupling. It is compatible with rigid wheel end fixed and flexible wheel end output connection modes. Available in production specifications ranging from 14 to 40 across the full series, it is ideal for high precision applications in aerospace, robotics, semiconductors, power inspection, and automation equipment.
Principle of Harmonic Gear Transmission
Invented by C.W. Musser in 1955, the harmonic gear drive utilizes the elastic deformation of flexible components for movement and power transmission. By breaking away from traditional rigid component transmissions, this drive achieves unique functions difficult to replicate. The deformation process of the flexible component is symmetrical and harmonic in nature, hence the name “harmonic drive.”
Harmonic Deceleration Principle
The deceleration principle of harmonic gear transmission involves the controlled elastic deformation of the flexwheel to achieve motion and power transmission.
